IntelTree ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based software development studio. This policy explains what personal data we collect through inteltree.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We handle your data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Enquiry details. When you email us, call us, or send us your address through a form on this site, we collect your email address and anything you choose to tell us about your project.
- Contact form details. If you use our project enquiry form, we collect your name, organisation, contact details, and project brief.
- Technical data. Like most sites, our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance monitoring.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a potential project (our legitimate interest, or steps towards a contract at your request).
- To keep a record of our correspondence while we work together.
- To keep the site secure and running properly.
We do not send marketing newsletters, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers who help us run the business — for example our email and hosting providers — and only under appropriate data-processing terms. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months, or for the duration of our working relationship plus any period required by law (for example, accounting records). After that it is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct or delete it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- provide a portable copy of it.
Email enquiries@inteltree.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
