Terms of service.
These terms set out the basis on which IntelTree ("we", "us", "our") provides web development, AI integration, and related services. They apply to enquiries made through this site and to work carried out under an agreed proposal or statement of work.
1. Quotations and proposals
Every engagement begins with a written proposal describing the scope, deliverables, timeline, and price. A proposal is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work starts once the proposal is accepted in writing. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it begins.
2. Payment
Unless a proposal states otherwise, we invoice a deposit before work begins and the balance on delivery. Invoices are payable within 14 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts, and late payments may accrue interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide timely access to the content, brand assets, systems, and people reasonably needed to deliver the work, and that you have the rights to any material you supply to us. Delays in supplying these may move delivery dates accordingly.
4. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the bespoke deliverables created for your project. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how, which we license to you as needed to use the deliverables. We may showcase non-confidential aspects of the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.
5. Confidentiality
We treat your business information, data, and unpublished plans as confidential and use them only to deliver the work. We ask the same of you for our pricing, methods, and proprietary tooling.
6. Warranties and liability
We deliver work with reasonable skill and care, and we fix defects in delivered work reported within 30 days of launch at no charge. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or issues caused by third-party services outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability is capped at the fees paid for the relevant engagement.
7. Third-party services
Projects often involve third-party platforms (hosting, payment providers, APIs, app stores). Those are governed by their own terms, and their availability or pricing changes are outside our control.
8. This website
The content of this site is provided in good faith for general information. It does not constitute professional advice, and we may update it without notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
